ArtandSeek.org is an online community for arts, culture and creative types produced by KERA public media in North Texas. If you are not familiar with KERA, KERA 13 and KERA 90.1 are the public television and radio stations for North Texas, which reach approximately 2.5 million people weekly through television, radio and the internet. And according to the KERA website, KERA 13 consistently ranks as one of the most-watched public television stations in the country. Art&Seek is where creative people can come together to find, discuss, create and react to art. Aside from that, they are supported from hundreds of arts organizations and venues in their listening area, making Art&Seek, in our opinion, the best arts and event listing website in the region. We should know, as we continually scroll through an array of sites looking for events in the DFW metroplex which by no means a small task. Most of the event listing websites in the region are subpar, with the exception of A&S. There site is very simple to navigate, has a nice clean design and contains no ads. Which is atypical for other event listings site in the region.

They also do features on arts and culture issues, there is an Art&Seek blog and their Events Calendar keeps you abreast of what’s going on in North Texas. You can browse by theater, dance, music, visual arts, workshops, classes, etc.

Art&Seek is by far a cut above the rest.
