There is nothing like heading to a baseball game to start the weekend off right. Right outta work and head downtown to enjoy the Astros play ball with the top down at Minute Maid Park. The ‘Stros are off to a low start this year but with 2 consecutive wins against Cincinnati, things may be turning around.
Left handy Wandy is pitching lights out… and is that our bats I hear blasting away? With all that has been said about the lack of production with the Astros offense, I find it hard to believe that Berkman, Lee, Tejada and Pence are not going to do some damage this season. Every team struggles at some point in the season and the Astros just happen to be going through it at the moment.
The good news is that we get back home soon with a 5 game homestand in which the Astros can make up some ground against the Cubbies. Then the Padres come to town starting Friday night for a 3 game series. Special ticket pricing for Friday night’s game on May 8th can be found on StubDog.com for nearly 50% off For Field Box and Bullpen Box seats.
Don’t give up on the Astros just yet. There is lots of ball left to play.
