Feinstein’s: Only In New York

Feinstein's

Legendary lounge performer Michael Feinstein’s swanky supper club is an Upper East Side destination with a distinctly “New York” atmosphere.  The elegant but cozy space, located at the Loews Regency on Park Avenue, recalls a time when a New York hotel was defined by its signature nightclub.  In its heyday in the ’60s, the 4.5-star hotel frequently lodged stars like Princess Grace and Sophia Loren.  And like the Plaza and the Waldorf, Loews may have been made most memorable by its nightlife.

For decades, Feinstein’s has been a must-visit venue for those seeking fine food and live entertainment in a sophisticated environment.  A restaurant by day, Feinstein’s continues to welcome some of the top names in cabaret entertainment for intimate live performances each night.  Tony Danza, Michael Amante, Lynda Carter, Betty Buckley, Tony Martin, and Linda Eder are among the performers who have graced the gold-curtained stage, while Feinstein himself performs there a few times a year.

The venue has earned a reputation for delivering the sound and glamour of bygone eras, while also showcasing up-and-coming talent.  Meanwhile, the New York-themed dinner menu features an eclectic mix of continental cuisine, like the Park Avenue PuPu Platter and a New York State cheese selection.

When thinking of how to describe Feinstein’s one-of-a-kind ambience, one phrase comes to mind: “only in New York.”
